Please join us on Zoom, Sunday, May 24th @ 5PM CST
to celebrate the life and creativity our dear friend and longtime 309 resident, Kent Stanton.
The event will also livestream on the 309 Punk Project's Facebook page.
We will begin with an introduction by Christopher "Scotty" Satterwhite. We will then watch a compilation of musical tributes created by Jessica Reiser, Rymodee, Cookies and Cake, Drew Coates, Justine & Alex (and Family), Barrett Williamson, David Dondero & the Shepski Family, that is interwoven with a narrative from AnArchive/Sean Linezo.
Scotty will conclude the Tribute with an opportunity for all to light a candle for Kent, and give participants a moment to bask in Kent’s light, individually.
We will reconvene on Zoom at 6PM for a group Karaoke of one of Kent's favorite songs led by Nik Flagstar. Then we will open the platform to all who wish to speak, share stories, and offer comfort to each other.
There is no time limit, and we welcome all participants to use the platform for as long as it serves us.
It will prompt you for your name (which will identify you to others participating) and email address. We have it set so that you may type in a fake email address should you choose.
